The central points are repeated over and over. I kept skipping and skimming chapters to get to treatment and management section. The process is overly explained and simplified and came off as filler to me. There's a summary at the end of each chapter and you could read that for most chapters instead of the whole chapter. This book has very basic info and not much technical. Wish I had waited and got it free from the library. I would have given 3.5 stars if that was allowed.
This book is an extremely helpful book, written in terms the average person can understand. As someone who is afflicted with a number of serious diseases brought on almost entirely due to living with chronic stress, this book has helped me understand the importance of doing what is necessary to eliminate stress at every chance possible.I've already been referring this book to people I care about the most.
